PAYROLL AND HR SPECIALIST.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform salary and relevant calculations in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union on posting workers.
  • Coordinate and control payroll related data flow, ensuring employees are paid correct and on time.
  • Keep records of the employees’ working time, vacation time, overtime and other payroll parameters.
  • Calculate, pay out and control daily allowances of postings and business trips.
  • Prepare and submit financial and operational payroll reports for local and host country authorities on request.
  • Communicate to employees regarding salary related questions.
  • Provide support in daily work with personnel at preparation of employment contracts, business trip orders and personal data entry.
  • Prepare orders of assignments for employees working abroad.
  • Continuously follow up on changes of laws and regulations regulating tax and accounting of the Republic of Latvia, as well as to the legislation of the European Union on the assignment of employees.
  • Collect and process further supporting finance documents of the company (receipts, invoices, delivery notes);
  • Cooperate with outsourced accounting service provider and ensure timely transfer of accounting documents.
  • Cooperate with finance managers of the Reich Group.

Requirements

Main requirements:

  • Secondary professional or higher education in HR, accounting/finance or related area.
  • Previous experience in Payroll Accounting and HR.
  • Fluent written and spoken Latvian and English.
  • Good knowledge of Labor and Employment legislation, as well as international payroll and taxes.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to details.
  • Ability to learn quickly, acquire new skills and not be afraid of challenges.
  • Knowledge of ERP system (MS – Business central D365), and other supporting systems will be advantage
