Account Manager /Sales Representative

Your future tasks:
  • Manage a 3-5 year customer plan that outlines objectives & tactics that deliver financial target and contains a strategic plan that supports the long term Latvian business strategy.
  • Maintain an understanding of the customers and market that provides an accurate view of current business conditions and the impact on the sales plan.
  • Manage the distributors/ farmers database through BASF’s CRM system.
  • Manage resources against the customer plan to ensure our probability in delivering financial targets. These resources will be aligned to business strategy and segmentation.
  • Manage together with our Sales Team”, our segmentation model and continue to fill in this model with current market data and market knowledge. The desired outcome will be to build demand for our products.
  • Requirements

    What we expect from you:
  • You hold a degree in science or agronomy related subject and have 2 -3 years’ commercial and technical experience, preferably within the agricultural industry.
  • Sales experience and knowledge of both the customer base and technical developments within the industry.
  • You have an aptitude for people, products and customers. In addition you have good communication skills and entrepreneurship as well as the eagerness and ability to play a key role in the market discussion and planning processes.
  • Good English skills is required or at least the ability and interest to approve.
  • You are competent in IT-software such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A valid driver’s license.
