Accountant

Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. • Performing administrative tasks and analysis for Rebate related tasks, resolving discrepancies and errors;
• Check, prepare and process journal entries, based on information received from the business unit and other partners;
• Perform account reconciliation and analysis, resolve discrepancies and errors;
• Performing periodical closing procedures;
• Handle audit requests;
• Executing and documenting process controls related to financial compliance;
• Performing other department's functions according to a manager's assignment;
• Contribute to process improvement projects.

• Previous experience within accounting or finance
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a student within this area
• Fluent in English to communicate with Business Units and colleagues in Europe
• Previous experience with ERP (JDE experience will be considered as a advantage)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality
