Associate Art Auctioner

We are looking for Cruise Ship Sales Professionals to
provide services for Park West®, the largest privately owned art gallery in
the world. Park West® hosts the Art Program on board over 80 cruise ships
around the world!

ASSOCIATE AUCTIONEER: The Associate works directly with the Auctioneer
in developing, maintaining and executing the art program on board. While
in this position, the Associate will hone his/her selling skills regularly with a
focus on securing a promotion to the Auctioneer position. Associates are a
full, integral part of the marketing plan onboard ship who constantly think of
ways to find the right guest to make the sale. This position is very dynamic
as it requires an original, inventive person who can devise methods to reach
onboard customers.

● Strong sales experience & previous cruise shipboard experience
● Excellent English (Style, grammar, vocabulary and public speaking)
● 21 years of age or older
● Both genders applicants are welcome
● Couples are also accepted, but will be sharing the sales commissions
● Charming, energetic and outgoing personality, attractive appearance

In order to become an Associate Auctioneer, you do not have to have an
art background or art degree. The Auctioneers and Associate Auctioneers,
however, do need to know the details behind each of the works he/she will
sell prior to joining a ship.
Park West Gallery® will provide a comprehensive training course that will
provide you with the key details you will need to sell the art.

Combine work and travel sailing around the World, but be ready for hard work!
Food and accommodation during shipboard service are covered by the company.
Six month contract followed by 6 weeks vacation.
