Job Description

  • Manages daily administrative operations of an office including establishing work priorities; assists in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations.
  • Oversees, coordinates, maintains, and/or processes payroll time sheets, sick and annual leave documents, travel reimbursements, purchasing documents, and/or employment documents.
  • Assists with finance planning, logistics planning, development, and management of annual budgets.
  • Monitors compliance and coordinates the execution of company policies, procedures, and operations; , regulations, and appropriate laws.
  • Provides and/or oversees the provision of administrative assistance and support to the CM, to include problem solving, project planning and management, fiscal management, day-to-day office coordination, and secretarial services.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of reporting procedures; oversees maintenance of department records and/or inventories.
  • Oversees and provides personal computer functions such as scheduled and special reports, correspondence, and database management.
  • May coordinate space assignments for the unit and oversee building security, safety, and maintenance.
  • Coordinates programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events; may coordinate program/project development and planning.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures involving procurement, travel, and/or employment.

  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to analyze, develop, establish, and maintain efficient office work flow and administrative processes.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in area of specialty.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Records maintenance skills.
