Chief Accountant

Amber Jet Group is a business aviation company, offering wide range of aviation solutions in charter sales and aircraft management, who provides exceptional and outstanding service to it’s clients. Our greatest asset is our employees and therefore we are looking for highly motivated, educated and talented individual to join our team as a Chief Accountant. Chief Accountant – Responsibilities include’s, but are not limited to:

Managing day-to-day accounting operations according in accordance with Company Accounting policy.

Control of debtors and creditors.

Administration of HR files and other documents related to employment relationships.

Reporting to State Revenue Service and other institutions (VAT returns, Payroll reports).

Calculation of employees salaries and advance payments.

Internal reporting and analysis of company financial statements.

Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Other tasks delegated by Managing Director related to accounting.

Chief Accountant – requirements and qualifications:

University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting area.

Interest in aviation industry.

High degree of IT skills and ability to adapt to a new accounting program.

Good knowledge of Latvian, Russian and English language.

Highly target driven individual, motivated to "Win=Win" business model.

Excellent time management skills.

Experience in calculation of salaries.

Good knowledge and understanding of Latvian Tax and Accounting legislations.

3+ years of experience in Accounting field. Desirable to have:

Previous experience in aviation or aerospace sector.
