Chief Accountant

Subsidiary company of Mantinga group is looking for a chief accountant to work with a convenience mini market chain in Latvia. As a chief accountant you will be responsible for the company’s accounting control and execution.

Your role will be:

• Organize and maintain the company’s accounting system.
• Setup accounting software for the company’s start.
• Prepare and submit financial statements to tax authorities.
• Compilate periodic reports (financial, sales, purchases, statistics, etc.).
• Monitor and manage inventory accounting.
• Shape accounting policies in accordance with Latvian accounting laws, taking into account the structure and characteristics of the company’s operations.
• Account: tangible and intangible assets, working time and payroll, cash register, fuel consumption, in/out payments and etc.

• Have +2 years of chief accountant experience.
• You have a degree in finance, economics, accounting or other related fields.
• You are well versed in the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia governing accounting.
• Experience working with Navision accounting software would be considered as a benefit.
• Creative and self-organized.
• Have good spoken and written English and Latvian.
