Are you an ambitious professional looking to develop your career as a Customer Service Specialist at a Global Industry Leader?
Come and join a successful and ambitious Customer Service team in Riga, part of the Northern Europe Cluster in Maersk Line.
From the start you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures, ensuring that the cargo is transported as per the transport plan promised to the customer and/or that the customers is kept informed of relevant deviations.
Building relationships with the customers, understanding their business drivers should be leveraged to continuously improve cooperation and process to the mutual benefit of the customer and Maersk Line.


Key Responsibilities

• Properly issue and handle the documentation
• Handle documents with regards to customs clearance
• Communicate with terminals, customs, internal departments
• Participate in meetings with clients
• Maintain Customer Service databases
• Handle reports according to the corporate procedures
• Be responsible for reaching the team KPI’s


We are looking for

A person who can make an effort to understand and support customers and colleagues and is able to work under pressure.

Understanding of shipping processes/procedures/practices gained through former professional work or higher education, ideally experience in terminal processes and operations.

Experience working at customer service.

We expect you to listen for the opinions of others and act in a diplomatic manner to build constructive relationships, so the Customers and colleagues see you as trusted partner whom they can rely on for advice and help.

You need to be ale to adapt your communication style in order to match the needs of the Customers.

Professional PC skills - Microsoft Office.

High level written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian and Latvian.
