Become part of the international HARTING Technology Group at our location in Biel (Switzerland) as an Development Engineer New Product Development
Here you will ensure strong connections:
- Design and development of new products and solutions in the field of network interface connectors.
- Independent planning, organisation and coordination of all necessary measures for the implementation of approved professional design concepts.
- Comparison of the functionality in the concept with the customer requirements and creation of the functional specifications.
- Normative and geometric design of the construction as well as the professional preparation of drawings.
- Accompanying the start of production including assessment and approval of the test and measurement results.
- Responsibility for the creation of technical and production-ready development documents with all relevant information.
- Constructive cooperation in project teams within development projects
- Proactive communication with employees, superiors and other interfaces.
Requirements
This is your connection to us:
- Completed technical vocational training with further education FH/HF in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics microtechnology or electrical engineering.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable function.
- Experience in working with 3D-CAD (NX12 desirable).
- Experience in simulations such as FEM or MoldFlow is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, high level advisory skills and. persuasiveness.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
- MS Office/SAP knowledge.
- You have a hands-on mentality, are business oriented, versatile and curious.
