DevOps Engineer

Description of work

We are looking for professionals in software designing, developing, delivering, and deploying. Be ready to design and implement CI/CD practices both for existing and emerging products to optimize, improve and speed up product releases. Duties and responsibilities:

• CI/CD process development.
• Communicate with software architects and development teams to achieve goals.
• Be up to date with end-customer needs and implement that in DevOps.
• Ensure knowledge sharing and improving of developers’ competencies.
• Consult about possible solutions, develop prototypes or technical solutions when appropriate.
• Share knowledge using the company`s internal tools.
• Document and explain solutions.
• System development.
• Write and maintain code for CI/CD framework.
• Maintain system using monitoring tools.
• Efficient development projects support and software quality.CI/CD process development.

Requirements:

• Programming experience (OOP, MVC paradigms), passion to learn new tools and frameworks.
•  Desire to learn and work with virtualization solutions, build/packaging automation and orchestration tools.
• Ability to learn and work with cloud provider solutions (Azure and Oracle Cloud experience will be considered as an advantage).
• Be ready to work in a team in an Agile way of working.
• Overall understanding of Jenkins for SDLC steps automation.
• Knowledge and experience with PHP, JavaScript (React, Vue), or Java (Spring) programming frameworks will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Unix will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of CardSuite product, deployment, compilation, and debugging will be considered as an advantage.
• Good English language (Written and oral), Latvian, and Russian language skills.
