Job Description

Development and maintenance of a marketing plan and a crisis management plan

Establishment and continued liaison with all stakeholders, especially data users and EAD Basic Users; provide first level information on EAD to all potential clients

Review and maintenance of the EAD websites

Co-ordination with other Agency’s communication and customers services

Preparation and participation to Exhibits, conferences, Users Day; maintenance of marketing material and related procurement activities

Requirements

Higher secondary education plus 2/3 years of relevant professional experience

Proven experience in general publications (public leaflets, newspaper articles, web pages etc) and web publication tools and means

In-depth knowledge of marketing and customer relation activities

Well-developed drafting, presentation and reporting skills

Knowledge of the AIS environment would be considered an advantage

Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this
particular post, an excellent command of English and a working knowledge of French are required.

The Central Flow Management Unit (CFMU) is part of the EUROCONTROL Agency. It provides
air traffic flow management services over the States of Western and Central Europe who are
members of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). Within the CFMU Organisation, the EAB (European Aeronautical Bureau) is responsible for the Oversight of the EUROCONTROL EAD (European AIS Database) Service and overall coherence of aeronautical information aspects within CFMU. EAD is Europe’s largest Aeronautical Information System (AIS); it is a centralised reference database of quality-assured aeronautical information from official sources and an integrated AIS office solution.
