Job Description
Purpose of the function:
Design and draw schemes, diagrams, drawings of cableways and cable tracks of electrical systems for marine projects.
Hierarchic position of the function within the organization:
Above: Lead Designer
Under: None
Main tasks:
Primary tasks of the function are:Realize diagrams and schemes for electrical power generation, distribution systems and instrumentation systems aboard vessels, in accordance with the client's demands as well as relevant rules
· Realize drawings of cableways and cable tracks based on cable lists, schemes and geometry of the vessel and taking into account the relevant rules and standards
· Fill up databases and making lists of components and cables for electrical systems
· Make supporting calculations
· Keep up one's own professionalism by among other things:
· Follow specialized courses and trainings in the field of important software tools
· Keep informed about the applicable working methods and quality procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications:
· Having completed a technical vocational or bachelor education with relevant working experience
· Good knowledge of and experience with relevant software applications (Microsoft Office and CAD Applications)
· Good interpersonal skills, aimed at working in a team
· Flexible working attitude
· Practical knowledge of (technical) English.
· Knowledge of special software for electrical use is an advantage (e.g.: E-Plan, SmartPlant Electrical, IN-Tools).
Location:
The activities are realized at the office, within the own project group. If the character of the work demands such, it may occur that the activities will be realized (for a short period) at an other location.
Cooperation with other colleagues within the project.
Activities are performed with personal computers, particularly using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
