Event & Catering Sales Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a dynamic leader who has a clear sales approach, enjoys the pro-active sales part as much as planning for events and groups alike. Our customers range from senior corporates, Tour Series to the entertainment sector hence you should be an open-minded and out-going person who easily develops strong relationships and delivers a personalized service.

The Event & Catering Sales Manager performs key functions such as handling events and customer service, bookings of all types of non-residential events from various sources of leads, soliciting business, sales call and administration for the largest banqueting space in the luxury hotel segment in Vienna. Through proper handover process, the Event & Catering Sales Manager also manages entire MICE groups (both rooms and events) after the contract is signed by Sales Managers.

The Event & Catering Sales Manager interfaces with the hotel management (Director of Groups, Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of F&B) to report on operational matters, personnel issues, individual sales and service performance; as well as market survey related to Events Sales department. The Event & Catering Sales Leader has a small team with direct responsibilities to develop and support.

• Previous experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality
• Fluent in German and English (every other language are advantageous)
• A valid working permission for Austria is required
• Outgoing and open-minded personality with leadership experience and resilience in peak times
• High organizational and rhetoric skills
• Sincere care for our clients and their requests
• A friendly, well-groomed and professional appearance
• OPERA skills are advantageous

The intended salary for this position is EUR 2500 pre-tax (paid in 14 installments) and sales incentives are provided.
