Factory Manager / Aizkraukle

Factory Manager is responsible for our Aizkraukle door factory’s daily operations as well as developments according to our goals.
You will be responsible for profitability, quality, delivery safety, internal efficiency, environmental and work safety according to JELD-WEN global standards. You are expected to initiate development plans, submit investment applications and carry out the plans after approval.
In the first phase of your employment, you will also be in charge of successful completing of Aizkraukle factory new building and launching new production lines in new premises.
You as one of our Latvian key persons report directly to JELD-WEN Coordinating Factory Manager and work in a close cooperation with Production Manager, Planning Manager, Maintenance Manager and other key people in our Aizkraukle factory.

We expect you to be a very energetic, dynamic and proactive hands-on person and very eager to see positive results. You are business-minded, open for new ideas, possess purposefulness and persistency.
You have good managerial and leadership experience, preferably within diverse cultural environment. You have good operational and strategic planning as well as decision making skills, preferably an experience with change management. You have a good understanding of Lean principles. An experience with a high volume production company and matrix structure is an advantage.
You can freely communicate in English and Latvian. Knowledge of Russian is an advantage. You are an experienced MS Office user. You have a (bachelor or higher) degree in engineering, business, production or similar.
