Finance and Business Analytics Senior Manager

Your Role at Cabot

As a Finance & Business Analytics Senior Manager, you will provide strategic financial and analytical support to the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. You will play a key role in financial planning, performance management, and deliver data-driven insights that support decision-making across GBS, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

You will also lead a team of analysts and drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, and data processes.

How You Will Make an Impact

Finance Business Partnering (GBS)

• Partner with GBS leadership to support financial planning and performance tracking
• Lead key financial processes, including:
• Budget development
• Forecasting and variance analysis
• Spend tracking (headcount, travel, contractors, recharges)
• Cost control and gap closure initiatives
• Prepare and support Operations Reviews, including data, analysis, and messaging
• Provide regular financial insights and updates to key stakeholders
• Identify cost drivers and support delivery of financial targets

Analytics & Insights

• Lead delivery of analytics across GBS functions.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of analysts.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Provide Procurement analytics, including:
• Cost and variance analysis
• Savings tracking (actual vs. forecast)
• Supplier performance insights
• Support Supply Chain analytics, including:
• Freight and logistics cost tracking
• Warehouse cost analysis
• Contract analysis (e.g., ocean freight rates)

Data & Reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
• Improve data accuracy, accessibility, and usability.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline processes, including the use of digital tools and AI.
• Collaborate with Digital teams on data integration and system improvements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong partnerships across GBS, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Ensure alignment between analytics outputs and business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner.
• 7–10 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related roles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making and drive business outcomes.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, and reporting optimization.
• Solid understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix organization.
• Fluency in English.
