Requirements
For the finance function of our hotels in Germany, Frasers Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team in the position of Cluster Finance Manager. This is a fast-paced role, well suited to someone dynamic and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day financial reporting and operational duties
- Responsible for compliance with internal policies & procedures
- Responsible for review of cash banking & safeguarding of cash floats in operation
- Responsible for bank reconciliations and bank clearing
- Manage, supervise and develop junior Finance staff within the hotel
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, forecasting and commentary on variance
- Reporting under & adhering to IFRS and German regulatory requirements within statutory deadline
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and preparation of audit pack
- Analyze & interpret of monthly results, key performance indicators and cost control by department.
- Assist General Manager with annual budgets
- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for corporate reporting to strict deadlines
- Be first point of contact and responsible for property audit – internal and external, and other consultants and bank
- Work with other German finance team and share best practices
Qualifications and skills
The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 5 years financial management experience. Background in hospitality or service based industry is essential.
- Experience working with SAP or any ERP system
- Ability to quickly learn and use new systems is essential
- Proficiency in excel
- Ability to achieve tight deadlines with high degree of accuracy and understanding
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Native level of German language and good level of written and spoken English
- Ability to multi task and prioritise
