Financial Controller in Shared Control Center

Job Description

Trading control Riga is responsible for providing timely and accurate global daily and monthly profit and loss reports. The department provides product support and service to each entity within Markets and Treasury. As Financial Controller you will monitor deliveries from Finance units in different countries/ legal units, report based on consolidated and reconciled financial information, prepare Group reports for internal and external use. Together with other members of the team, you will also work on process improvements.

This position may involve knowledge transfer period at Trading Control Stockholm.

Responsibilities:
• Connect with business partners to set mutual expectations; connect with business transactions and other sources to financial reporting to ensure correct at source
• Collect financial data based on business transactions from systems and/or reporting units; standardize and automate data collection
• Control quality of financial data so it meets agreed internal and external standards
• Conclude in a way of analyzing financial data and extracting a direction by linking financial data to business partner need
• Communicate financial data to business partners in order to enhance performance trough better business decisions; enable easy access to information and advice needed

Requirements

• Academic degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Access)
• Responsible and accurate with large volume of numbers
• Result oriented and service focus towards internal stakeholders
• Eagerness to learn and ability to cooperate in small groups
• We expect you to be loyal, motivated, positive, open-minded and proactive
Your working language will be English.
