Forklift Driver/ Storage worker

Our client is a Norwegian storage house, a stock for all sort of camping gear, outdoor equipment etc. The company is located in a bigger city in northern part of west Norway.

Suitable candidate has the competency to work with the fork lifts up to 10 tons and has provable working experience more than one year in this job. The storage worker will work with picking smaller and larger items from the stock shelves with different types of forklift trucks. The picked items are camping equipment, large or small, sold to other shops in Norway. Some heavy lifting must be expected but most of the heaver jobs are done with forklift trucks. Working time is from 8 – 16 Monday - Friday, working 37, 5 hours per week.

WORKING PERIOD:             01.02.* - 31.05.2021

*Corona: 10 days quarantine needed before starting to work and that may change the start of the working period.

The right candidate to this job has previous relevant work experience as a storage worker/forklift driver for at least 1-2 years, has strong physical health and effective communicational skills, is detail- oriented and can communicate in English. Any lisence on lifting vehicles is a big plus.

Gross salary per hour is NOK 180; by guaranteed average 37,5h working hours/week the net salary after income tax deduction to Norway per month is NOK24 100, ca EUR2290, including the holiday compensation. Overtime and extra hours is paid with +40% on the hourly salary when working more than 9 h/day in addition. The workers gets full working clothes and shoes with protection at the workplace.

Accommodation at an apartment or cabin nearby for NOK3000 monthly, payable by the worker. Private bedroom, sharing WC/bathroom and kitchen, Wifi. Bed linen and towels supported.
