French speaking Accountant in Store Accounting Team

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Process debit and credit notes, perform weekly and monthly accounting activities related to dealer sites;
• Clear daily transactions and promptly address any errors in collaboration with colleagues based in Belgium;
• Respond to queries from site managers, business unit representatives and external partners as needed;
• Review, prepare and process journal entries based on information received from business unit and other partners;
• Provide support by answering questions from other company departments regarding processed financial records;
• Execute month-end closing procedures, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors;
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• Experience within accounting for at least 1-2 years
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written, to communicate successfully with colleagues abroad)
• Fluent in French (both verbal and written, at least C1 level)
• Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE experience will be considered as an advantage)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality
