You would like to become the General Manager of a luxury hotel? Then approach this opportunity!
Our client, a well know hotel management company is continuously expanding. Currently they look for a General Manager for their new opening hotel in Hauts-de-France. You will start to work in January, 2021 and support the pre-opening team, in order that the opening some month later will be a great event and the base for offering the guests a place to feel good and safe.
Requirements
Your tasks will be to...
- …ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, standard operation procedures, policies, procedures and service standards.
- …lead all key property issues including capital projects and refurbishments.
- … be responsable for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual operating budget, marketing & sales plan, capital budget and monthly performance reviews.
- …analyze and prepare a monthly commentary report.
- …manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and when possible, exceeded.
- …ensure that monthly financial outlooks for rooms, food concept, administration and general are accurate and on target.
- …act as a final decision maker in hiring of the hotel staff.
- …oversee, guide and coach hotel’s guidelines for the execution of all activities and functions.
- …be responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits).
- …be responsible and accountable for occupational health & safety act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
Your profile
• You have at least 5 years of experience in hotel management.
• It will be a plus if you have also the background of globally branded hotels and international experience.
• You are available to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights, when required.
• You have strong understanding of profit and loss statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
