Job Background: • Near-native command of English and German languages, as well as knowledge of local customs and norms is key to succeeding in this position. • So is love to travel, independence and flexibility – you will be expected to spend >60% of your time on the road, traveling in your region and meeting framing studios. • Meeting new people and quickly establishing good personal contact should be your second nature: you will see 3-4 framers per day and will be the face they will associate with our products for years to come. • You should have keen analytical skills in order to convert your conversation to concise market insights. • You know how to share your expertise with others in a clear and concise way! You will become more knowledgeable about the picture framing business than an average framer and you will be eager to share that knowledge with the framers you meet. You will teach the framer how to make more profit by selling value-added glass and share the tricks of the trade you learned from others. • In a few months, you will be the expert of your region and will share your lessons learned with your traveling colleagues. • You will know the position of Groglass® in the region, and which of the other four competitors have strong positions. You will make recommendations on how to identify their weaknesses and increase our footprint. • You will deliver the message, but the product is delivered by our distributors, so you will also be the account manager for these distributors, seeing them often, analyzing their volumes, managing promotions and helping them sell more products. • You will be supported in Riga by a Sales Director and a Marketing Function, which will work closely with you to determine specific marketing strategies tailored to each Region. • In the field, you will be supported by your traveling companions, the other In-Country Sales Managers.

In-Country Manager’s Requirements and Qualifications: • You feel at home when traveling, meeting new people, learning new concepts and teaching them to others. You are able to be on a business travels (abroad of Latvia) -three weeks of the month. • Numbers don’t scare you, in fact you use them to make persuasive arguments and conclusions. • You are familiar with marketing concepts. • You have near-native command of English and German. • You are exceptionally well organized and driven by success, and independent. • You are a good negotiator, and an expert in your field. • Others like your pleasant, warm personality, say you are quick to establish personal contact, and able to inspire action and support each framer when he needs it. • Driver's license B.
