Job Description
Networkers International are currently recruiting a strong Technical Accountant with exceptional people management skills to join our clients Management team in the position of Financial Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the management of a small team and in turn the timely production and consolidation of financial reporting. The ability to communicate effectively with direct reports, local teams and global units is a key requirement of this role and candidates without people management experience will not be considered.
Duties will include
Quarterly and annual consolidation of Group multi-currency financial results.
Reconciliations and reporting.
Preparation of annual statutory accounts for all group companies under UK, IFRS, and local GAAP.
Management of quarterly and annual audit process.
Provision of key weekly, monthly and quarterly management information.
Development of financial reporting policies, controls and reporting improvements.
Provision of technical accounting guidance and advice.
Drive new initiatives with respect to more efficient and standardised practices and systems
Candidate Requirements.
Qualifed Chartered Accountant with strong technical accounting skills.
Working knowledge of UK, IFRS and US GAAP.
Strong communication and management skills with an ability to operate within a fast paced Group Finance environment.
Robust management experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
