Head Accounting process manager

What you will do:

• Participate in new business product launch projects by providing technical accounting expertise to other business development teams, research the most complex accounting issues (IFRS).
• Ensure that Group reporting and Local Financial statements of Eleving Europe countries are submitted in time, according to the respective guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain constant communication with the Group and Local financial auditors to ensure timely and efficient financial audit process.
• Utilize all resources (technology, staff, other departments, etc.) to conduct complex accounting projects and improvements, develop best practice-based accounting policies and procedures.
• Effectively set priorities to Eleving Europe countries’ finance teams and ensure they are delivered on and adherence to accounting controls and deadlines.
• Hire, coach and develop both internal headquarter and countries’ finance teams.

What you will need:

• Practical experience in audit, financial reporting or accounting related activities shall be around 3-5 years, where you gained the knowledge of IFRS application, as well as how the audit and reporting processes shall be organized.
• Ability to manage the projects upward, down and across the organization using different skills and methods, by identifying problems and developing necessary solutions.
• Strong time and project management skills, good command of MS Excel usage.
• Bachelor’s or similar level degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Great command of the English language.
