We work in a collaborative matrix set‑up, focusing on three key areas: Leadership, Prioritised Competencies and Skills, and Regulatory and Mandatory Training. In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and inspire the Latvian team in designing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that strengthen performance across the organization
  • Shape the future of Growth & Development as part of the management team, contributing to the evolution of our offering, our people, and how we work
  • Take strategic ownership of one of our key focus areas (Growth skills & competencies, Leadership development, Regulatory & Mandatory learning) or group-wide initiatives-setting direction and driving delivery across our four home markets
  • Collaborate and lead in a matrix environment, contributing as a member of the local HR management team and acting as Swedbank’s ambassador for continuous learning

Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a leader in an international environment
  • Strong business orientation with ability to translate business needs into scalable competence development activities
  • Structured and analytical with the ability to see the holistic picture
  • A proven track record of leading group-wide or pan-Baltic projects and driving change successfully
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • A coaching leadership style with the ability to build and grow high-performing teams equipped with the right competencies needed for the future
  • Confidence in leading and collaborating within both line and matrix structures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and Latvian, for effective collaboration with colleagues across the Baltics and the Group

Nice to have

  • Background in learning & development and/or talent management is an advantage
