Become part of the international HARTING Technology Group at our location in Biel (Switzerland) as an Industrial Engineer

Here you will ensure strong connections:

• Process optimisation of the production areas with innovative improvements to plants, workplaces and devices in the production areas.
• Specification, procurement and acceptance, commissioning of plants, tools and devices up to production.
• Maintain existing products with manufacturing documents and process support.
• Operational support for all production areas, data maintenance in SAP.
• Coordination between development, quality management, production and logistics.
• Procurement of operating resources, prototype construction and commissioning.
• Process optimisation, validation for process release.
• Ordering quotations for manufacturing and product costing and investment planning.
• Implement quality assurance and cost reduction measures.
• Organisation and handling of training courses incl. preparation of technical documentation.
• Constructive cooperation in project teams.
• Proactive communication with employees, superiors and other interfaces.

This is your connection to us:

• Completed mechanical vocational training with studies, HF/FH as micro-,electrical or machine technician.
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable function in production.
• Knowledge in the injection moulding area of electrical engineering and placement systems.
• Knowledge of AOI (automatic optical inspection equipment) and of manual inspection stations.
• CAD knowledge, preferably SolidWorks.
• Practice-oriented from ideas to commissioning.
• Independent problem solver with communication skills and ability to persuade.
• Language skills in German, spoken and written English, colloquial French
• MS Office/SAP and CAQ knowledge.
• You have a hands-on mentality, are business oriented, versatile and curious.
