Interior/Set Designer

We are currently looking for a creative and highly skilled Interior/Set Designer. We require a person who will be able to use their skills in brainstorming and developing new fresh look of our shooting locations in the studio.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure the good workflow of the team, keep the department tasks on track
• Monitor team members' performance: make sure the department provides a high-level results within their responsibilities
• Hire, onboard and mentor new members of the team
• Manage the schedule of the team, regulate and coordinate annual vacations, sick leaves, days off
• Implement new ideas within the department, i.e. ways to improve communication with shooting teams regarding requests, the general pace and quality of the workflows within the department
• Analyze the needs of video projects with regards to filming locations, their types, entourage and props
• Design the entourage space of common use places, perform regular analysis and filling (according to the needs of projects)
• Research, design and organize the development of new filming locations
• Maintain, redesign and renovate the existing filming locations
• Create order requests for new furniture and decoration props
• Create 3D visualizations for: new filming locations based on given floor plan, renovation of existing locations (eg. color changes), common use spaces (eg. cafeteria, balcony, reception)
• Find contractors and negotiate with them with regards to construction and repair work, furniture, decorating, etc.
• Сheck the quality of repair/construction work and other services provided by contractors
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Video Studio

• Experience in interior and/or architectural 3D visualization and design
• Ability to effectively and efficiently carry out the work within the set deadlines
• Knowledge of styles and trends in interior design, understanding of the basics of composition and color scheme
• Experience in SketchUp (or similar 3D visualization tool), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
• Team management experience and strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment, perform well under pressure
• Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to changes and new challenges
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, ability to find creative solutions
• Positive attitude and stress resistance, ability to motivate team
• A healthy dose of perfectionism and attention to detail
