Job Description

We are seeking a proactive,detail-oriented, and analytical IT Asset Management Specialist to join our global IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of IT assets - hardware, software, and digital - to ensure visibility, compliance, cost control, and data accuracy across the organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, technical understanding of ITAM/ITSM practices, and a structured, process driven approach. The IT Asset Lead plays a key role in supporting risk management, operational decision-making, and audit readiness within a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets from requisition to end‑of‑life disposal.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date asset records in CMDB and asset registers.
  • Implement and monitor controls ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Manage software entitlements, compliance, and true‑up cycles.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports for audits and internal reviews.
  • Address audit findings and apply corrective actions to reduce risks.
  • Define and enforce standards for tagging, discovery, and inventory management.
  • Utilize automation tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships regarding warranties, renewals, and refresh cycles.
  • Support procurement and contract‑related activities.
  • Collaborate with Security teams on asset‑related risks and remediation.
  • Provide asset data for incident response and investigations.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management or IT operations.
  • Experience with CMDB maintenance, asset discovery tools, and software license reporting.
  • Proven work supporting audits, license reconciliations, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
  • Proficiency with ITAM/CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow (ITAM/SAM Pro).
  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows, licensing models, and asset inventory control.
  • Advanced Excel or BI tool skills for reconciliation and dashboard creation.
  • Effective communication with IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance teams.
  • Ability to detect and resolve data quality issues and identify cost‑avoidance opportunities.
  • Strong analytical mindset for managing refresh cycles and end‑of‑life planning.
  • ITIL Foundation or ITAM/IAITAM/ISO 19770 certifications are an advantage.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
