You can become a part of our success story and join exciting journey within Caljan. You would be part of global team who is working in different locations. In your role you will be working in our new facilities, which just been freshly finished, and office is in Liepāja, Latvia.

Responsibilities:

Managing Responsibilities:

• Supervise, manage, and provide guidance to team members in electrical engineering team
• Delegation of tasks in the electrical engineering team make sure that deadlines are met
• Ensure that team has relevant resources, training, and knowledge for automation related activities
• Ensure productions electrician team has required support to maintain smooth production and reduce production downtime
• Daily communication with relevant departments to follow up on project status
• Collaborate with automation departments in HQ and other subsidiaries
• Provide guidance to upper management

Technical responsibilities:

• Ensure that final automation design is engineering vise and cost effective
• Ensure hand in hand technical solution between software and Hardware design.
• Consult with automation part manufactures/ suppliers
• Follow up with latest innovation in automation field
• Follow up if relevant standards/norms are applied to design

Requirements:

• Higher education in electrical engineering or another relevant field
• 3-year experience in similar role
• Knowledge of making hardware electrical design
• Knowledge of PLC programming
• Have excellent collaboration – and stakeholder management skills
• Have excellent fact-based analytic skills
• Have strong communication skills
• Know how to set direction for people around, support and motivate them
• Experience in problem solving and decision-making
• Fluent English, as we work as part of international team

• Salary: 1600-2400 euros brutto (Salary according to qualifications and experience)
