We’re looking for a KYC Training Senior Lead to join our growing KYC team in Tallinn. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow as a lead and help save millions more people money.

Your mission is to implement and lead our KYC knowledge, training management strategy and framework while cooperating with our KYC teams and supporting functions, while developing and maintaining training programs.
The role as a KYC Training Senior Lead gives you the opportunity to:
- Work together with KYC Area Leads to understand future headcount and capacity needs and report them the overall results and plans for Learning and Development in the specific site and/or team.
- Work together with other operations training leads to ensure that onboarding and team’s L&D are aligned and successful across the company .
- Own the communication and updates about different trainings across the teams.
- Support coordinators upscaling trainings and onboarding processes by constantly identifying improvement areas and finding new ways to analyse training needs.
- Own the onboarding success by supporting the team on setting and reaching KPIs for onboarding trainings, mentoring and for new joiners
- Partner with the Learning and Development team to identify needs, upscale compliance onboarding and L&D of KYC teams.
- Continuously update self knowledge with the knowledge from the business.
- Own the success of regional/team’s trainings and onboarding processes.
- Keep track of the KYC knowledge base by ensuring that the information is up to date and meeting the defined design and standards.
- Own the training team’s capacity by understanding the need and planning the coordinators, trainers and mentors capacity .
- Think and plan long term by defining team’s vision and goals and communicating the them to the wider business .
- Lead the execution of global programs that would be applicable for all KYC operational teams.
- Coordinate and guide the training coordinators cross offices.
- Lead by example by promoting a healthy feedback culture, especially around critical, more difficult conversations.
Requirements
- You have excellent written and verbal English skills.
- You place customers first and you make no compromise on this.
- You’re accurate and pay attention to detail. You enjoy owning your work and taking charge on projects when needed.
- You’re a clear and honest communicator, persuasive and adaptive to different audiences.
- You're comfortable with feedback and being part of a team where ideas are shared and openness is valued.
- You’re proactive and a great relationship builder.
- You are flexible with your work hours. We aim to help our global customers any time they need it, occasionally during weekends and holidays.
- You’re interested moving to Tallinn, Estonia (relocation and visa is supported).
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
- You have knowledge/experience in payment card/card issuance industry.
- You've worked with cross border teams on projects that drive efficiency and scaling of manual work - know the challenges and how to overcome those.
- Basic data skills - you know how to use data to prioritise tasks that have the most value-add to customers’ and measure the impact.
