Piping Supervisor

We are looking for a shipbuilding Piping Supervisor who is willing to take up the challenge of leading complex cruise ships piping installations (as new-buildings as retrofit) projects all over the world.

DUTIES:

• Organizing and plan the work of subordinates in the best possible way so that the company's customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with customer expectations;
• ensuring that personal protective equipment is available for the work of the team;
• identification, prevention or elimination of sources of danger in the work environment and participation in the preparation of risk analysis.
• compliance with labour protection and fire safety requirements.
• monitoring compliance with occupational safety requirements during the performance of work;
• day-to-day communication with the parties required to perform the work, including customers;
• reading technical drawings;
• adherence to established timetables;
• documentation of the work performed and preparation of other documents necessary for the work.
• keeping records of equipment, tools, spare parts and consumables in conjunction with accounting;
• mentoring, development and training of subordinates;
• ensuring and taking responsibility for the quality requirements of production and services, production deadlines and technology within the limits of his/her competence;
• increasing the efficiency of work, economical use of resources and making proposals for making work more efficient, and monthly detailed analysis to improve its efficiency;
• representation and cooperation with partners, organization and development of external relations;
• resolving potential problems efficiently and within a reasonable time.

• to have experience of designing and managing marine installations to high standards;
