Procurement Team Lead

AERONES is seeking a Procurement Team Lead to oversee and enhance our procurement operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement team, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring the effective and efficient acquisition of goods and services to support our operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily activities of the procurement team, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of materials to meet operational needs.
• Maintain accurate procurement data by updating materials, documentation, and vendor records in the ERP system.
• Track, analyze, and report on procurement KPIs, contributing to departmental targets and continuous process improvement.
• Manage communication across departments, handling procurement-related requests and collaborating through email, chat, and internal tools.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, resolving supply issues, managing risk, and securing favorable terms and pricing.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives, conducting market research and monitoring pricing trends to inform procurement decisions.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers while supporting procurement specialists, handling complex purchases, and assisting with planning and development.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior procurement role, preferably with team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and team development skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; experience maintaining procurement databases is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently.
• Fluent in English and Latvian (spoken and written).
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Technical education or background (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or similar) is considered a strong plus.
• Experience with complex part sourcing or technical documentation is an asset.
