Job Description
We are looking for a Project Engineer for FL&GL projects – a positive, target oriented and self-thinking person, who will be responsible for all the planning/designing and project personnel in the current project, including responsibility for the work packages.
The working language is English which you should master both in oral and written.
The work will be based in Norway.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Take care that all the planning/designing activities are carried out and follow up these activities in accordance with the approved plans, deadlines, budgets and the contract
- Contribute in working out the QA-plan for planning/designing part of the project
- Take care that health-, safety- and environmental demands are established and lived up to in the planning/designing part of the project
- Provide that environmental demands are taken care of in the planning/designing process, including choice of technical solutions that in the long run influence environment to a lower degree
- Take care that operative and functional qualities are focused on and implemented in detail planning/designing
- Contribute in carrying out and understanding of SOW
- Contribute in improvements of the work process
- Together with technical manager mobilize resources who have satisfying competence for carrying out the planning/designing phase in the tasks
- Be a superior and helping hand for the work line managers
- Be a helping hand for project managers
- Contribute in planning/designing within the professional field if necessary
- Take care that all the material is specified and bought in accordance with the project plan
- Take part in risk management of the project together with project managers/FEL group
Requirements
- Have knowledge, experience and able to deal with the tasks and responsibilities mentioned above
- Good oral and written English
- Knowledge of Norwegian or other Scandinavian language is valuable, but not required
