Job Description
Markis Industrial development center of Denmark is planning to establish a brunch office in Latvia. In connection with this, we intent to employ two project managers/coordinators as trainees during the first 6 months.
Tasks of the trainee:
The trainee will be trained in:
a. planning, managing, coordinating projects related to:
• Comprehensive Integrated waste management , waste to energy/ bio energy
• Soil and ground water remediation
• Agro forestry/ food processing industries, agro waste/ energy/ material recovery.
• Industrial/ regional/ tourism development.
b. Financing of projects, EU programs and application co-ordination.
The training will take place among others via participation in practical work in projects which Markis develops in Baltic region, Ukraine, Greece and Denmark.
The trainee can expect a max 3 months training in our main office in Copenhagen.
The trainees will be hosted at Markis building during their training period.
Requirements
Minimum requirements for the candidates.
• Good knowledge of Latvian and English languages.
• Education: Commercial or managerial, or marketing, or technical in any of above sectors.
• Interest to work in such sectors/ projects.
• Social/ service minded.
• Students in their last year who may also combine practical/ thesis work and or persons that have finished the education.
Company offers
During the trainee period the salary will be 400-600€ depending on qualifications. Additionally Markis will cover 100% of travel/ food and stay expenses in relation to travels abroad or in Latvia in relation to work. After successfully completion of trainee period Markis can offer long term employment with higher income/ responsibility.
