Job Description

• Over all responsible for all Hotel department storekeeping and to deliver clear and accurate results and reports in regards to inventory transactions, cost and stock control (revenue and non-revenue), inventory levels, inventory turn over and irregularities.
• Coordinates the requisitioning of all Hotel department supplies and provisions the ship in liaison with the storing schedule or as otherwise advised by purchasing.
• Develops, implements and maintains system(s) used in the collection of food, beverage and general supply items cost / consumption data.
• Provides general assistance to the Hotel Manager as deemed necessary.
• Controls and verifies all new merchandise, received at ship’s side, is according to the Standard Item List and quantity and quality matches corresponding invoices and or any other paperwork accompanying the delivery.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of storeroom operation and storing procedures.
• Familiar with all departments and their functions within Hotel / Food & Beverage operations.
• Must have extensive experience within shore and ship based food & beverage operation.
• Good knowledge of cruise ship catering operation.
• Strong command of the English language combined with good verbal and written skills.
