Purchasing manager

In this position you will responsible for monitoring and analysing market and assortment groups, in order to ensure excellent timing and quality of goods in stores. Furthermore, you will be negotiating and keeping close contact with national suppliers, closing the best quality-price deals and controlling processes related to goods positioning, costs and documentation. You will also be responsible for creating labels and packages according to legislation and reporting on activities to direct superiors and central headquarters on timely manner.

Mandatory requirements for the candidates are 2-3 years of experience in purchasing manager position (large range of goods), university degree, excellent Latvian and English speaking and writing skills; valid driving licence and willingness to travel for initial training within Europe for 6-12 months. The advantage for this position would be German and/or Russian language skills.

We expect that you have excellent negotiation and communication skills; high sense of responsibility and orientation to details. We also value unconditional flexibility, quick reaction and accuracy in performing day-to-day tasks. Successful candidate should be able to prioritize tasks, operate in discipline manner and report the information directly and clearly.
