Job Description

Finolhu was opened in June 2016 and consists of four islands with long beaches. It has 125 beachfront and overwater villas (more than half with private pool) and four restaurants. Whilst popular with honeymooners, the extensive resort is also very family-friendly, with a kids’ club, plenty of activities and daily entertainment. With a retro-chic design and beach club vibe, Finolhu puts a playful twist on luxury.

In 2018, the resort launched the Beach Bubble Tent; a unique overnight glamping experience in a bubble-shaped, transparent tent, on a private stretch of beach. The Beach Bubble Tent offers the best views of night sky and is equipped with its own shower and toilet, a double bed and the finest bed linen. A private beach barbeque and breakfast served on the beach is also included.

The Seaside Hotel Collection includes a total of twelve exclusive resort and city hotels located in the Canary Islands,  Spanish mainland, Germany and now in the Maldives!

We are currently seeking a talented, energetic and experienced REVENUE MANAGER to join our team.


Requirements

  •  Maximize all revenues to and for the Resort including but not limited to Rooms/Events and Food & Beverage, Spa. Contribute cross-functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering and Food and Beverage; Spa departments. Manage all aspects of competitor intelligence; pricing; management of room inventory, and/or the yield hurdle points; distribution channels; acceptance/denial of major group bookings as outlined in Commercial Strategy for the resort.

  •  Prepare market intelligence and data to conduct weekly revenue strategy meetings with General Manager, DOSM, Financial Controllers, Owners and other stakeholders.

  •  Works with Director of Finance and DOSM in the preparation and management of the annual room budget by providing all necessary data, market intelligence, trends and insights from the compset.

  •  Creates daily, weekly and monthly forecasts, pickup reports, room pool performance repots and all other business intelligence data required for the resort’s leadership team to make commercially informed decisions.

  •  Understands hotel’s annual budget structure, P&L, cost management and revenue allocations in relation to driving GOP. 

  •  Maintains, updates and shares information in the areas of a master calendar of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPar penetration, monitoring all hotels performance KPIs including RGI , lead time and spending patterns and geographic markets, keeping tracking of displacement reports.  

  • Monitor competitor pricing for revenue generating departments, understands the dynamic of the local market and the demand generators, and recommends appropriate action to DSOM/GM.


    Your profile

  • Must have a minimum of 04 years‘ experience in revenue in a 5 star or luxury resort.

  • Excellent technical systems‘ skills of Protel, Synxis, OTA Insights, Ideas, Excel and pivot tables.

  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of the pricing strategies across all distribution channels.

  • Business focused with ability to drive revenues and yield on opportunities in all revenue generating departments.

  • Able to chair revenue and forecast meetings for larger audience.

  • Experience and good understanding of e-commerce with ability to execute retail strategies.

  • Experience in managing a small team of reservations agents.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Outgoing and driven personality to succeed, self motivated, proactive and able to work 

  • under pressure.

  • Maldives and or remote living experience highly desirable.

  • Having a degree/diploma in hospitality or business studies would be an advantage.
