SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Fuel Accounting in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Would you like to:

• Get deep understanding of fuel end-to-end process from accounting/reporting angle and work in one of the biggest fuel retailers worldwide?
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory accounting and reporting for Circle K Energy Trading SA on monthly, quarterly and year end basis?
• Manage operational issues, profit or loss effects, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area?
• Ensure close dialogue with BU and various stakeholders in Europe?
• Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group’s guidelines?
• Participate in improvement projects in fuel accounting /fuel valuation / fuel reporting area?
• Develop and maintain solutions to financial tasks in Microsoft Excel?

• University degree in economics or finance field
• Solid Experience (3+ years) in accounting or audit field, preferably within an international environment
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month- end/year end close process
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and general accounting system background (Oracle JDE and Longview will be considered as an advantage)
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Ability to work in a changing environment
• Fluency in English
• Experience with applications of IFRS including IAS2 and IFRS16
