SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER R2R NETHERLANDS

Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and reporting (including, but not limited to Market review, Business Review, CAPEX, ROCE, OPEX, margin analysis etc.) in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for Business unit results on monthly, quarterly and year end basis

• Manage operational issues, resolve management reporting discrepancies and irregularities faced in management accounting an reporting area.
• Quality review of other employee work.
• Develop and automate management reporting processes to reduce processing time, increase efficiency and scalability.
• Drive best practice and process consistency both, within the systems and in connected processes.
• Lead efforts to analyze and interpret financial performance vs budget and prior periods for all specific Business unit.
• Ensure close dialogue with Business unit and various stakeholders in Europe and North America.
• Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group’s guidelines.
• Participate in challenging improvement projects in management accounting/ reporting area.

• Solid experience in Controlling or audit field, preferably within an international work environment.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a simple, meaningful fashion.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Understanding of general accounting principles.
• Strong process analytical skills and process improvement capabilities.
• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Good computer skills, proficient user of BI tools and general accounting system background (Oracle JDE, Finance Cube, Power BI, SAP and Longview is an advantage).
• Fluent English language skills to communicate with colleagues in Europe and America.
• University degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or similar. Accounting specialization is preferred.
