Job Description

Quality Assurance Senior Officer

We have opportunities in this role in Kings Hill.

We are looking for someone with investment experience.

Keep complaints down and satisfaction up
As a Quality Assurance Senior Officer at Barclays, you'll be able to make a big impact in a short time and dramatically reduce risk to our business. You and your team will make certain that all complaints are dealt with in a way that satisfies Financial Services Authority (FSA) requirements and follows the guidelines of the Financial Ombudsman Service. In short, it'll be down to you to prevent censure and fines and to protect the reputation of both Barclays and our partners. It's a challenging role that will give you a chance to use your skills and experience to train and develop colleagues to meet the highest service standards in the industry.

What you'll give our customers as a Quality Assurance Senior Officer
You'll assess the individual competency of complaint handlers and see to it that appropriate sampling matrixes are correctly updated and effectively used. You'll also provide technical support and serve as a referral point for complaint handlers, giving quality coaching and feedback in the process. What's more, we'll depend on you for recommendations that will improve the overall quality of complaint handling across the business.

What you'll need as a Quality Assurance Senior Officer
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need a Financial Planning Certificate (or equivalent) and extensive knowledge of the regulated financial services environment. We'll also need to see knowledge of group and FSA governance requirements and a thorough understanding of the complaints lifecycle within the financial industry. Outstanding analytical abilities and solid communication skills across all levels complete the package.

We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.
