Senior Manual QA

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is seeking Senior level Manual QA Engineer to join an International IT Consulting 100+ employee company based in NYC.

Your impact zone

• Set up and document QA processes for the client based on modern best practices.
• Analyze a set of existing applications.
• Develop and document test cases.
• Manually execute test cases (e.g., regression test suite).
• Perform exploratory/ad hoc testing, whenever applicable.
• Report manual testing progress, status, and results.

Your expertise

• At least 4 years of manual testing experience.
• Experience in both test case development and execution.
• Experience in frontend and backend testing, web application testing, experience in testing enterprise software products.
• General understanding of how applications are built under the hood.
• High-level understanding of the requirement, code, and test life cycles.
• Ability to efficiently use Jira and Confluence on a daily basis.
• Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• General knowledge about the capital markets industry will be considered as an advantage.
