Sales assistants are at the frontline of a fast-paced sector where no two days are ever the same. Far away from the world of office desks and boring business meetings, expect to meet a whole range of people every day. So if you've got an outgoing personality, this is the perfect job for you.

Your main task as a sale assistant is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience and spend lots of cash so the business can keep going. As part of this service you'll be expected to:

• Welcome and advise customers (so practise your smiling)
• Ensure goods are well displayed (an organised shop is a happy shop)
• Handle payments
• Arrange ordering and delivery
• Keep the shop floor clean and tidy

A company is seeking a strong Store Manager that has fantastic networking skills to drive sales and engage with the community. Company seeks individuals that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are very commercial but have warmth and can create a positive and driven team to ensure the store delivers not only in figures but high customer service levels.

Key accountabilities:

• The store to be presentable at all times with full availability and excellent customer service
• Personable, prompt and polite service to be offered in all areas of the store
• Achievement of Sales targets
• Stock to be on sale during trading hours
• Stores to be fully prepared for trade
• To recruit, motivate and develop store colleagues to be responsive to store and customer demands
• To merchandise the store to provide a welcoming customer environment which also delivers sales and profitability
• Agreed promotion instructions to be followed and implemented
