Therapy Development Specialist - Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia)

A Day in the Life:

We are looking for a result driven, team-oriented and dynamic colleague to fill out an open position within our Coronary and TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation) team. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong marketing skills and knowledge from the medical device industry (preferable within the interventional cardiology/cardiac surgery sector), we encourage you to apply. The main purpose of this role is to promote the innovative range of Medtronic Coronary/TAVI products in the area of the Baltics.

The jobholder will lead the market adoption efforts in the Coronary/TAVI field. The role will include performing presentations, support cases, launches and introductions of new products and services, informing about studies, conducting trainings and in-service activities for physicians, nurses and building strong relationships with customers.

For this role, you would be expected to be located in Latvia. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Acquire a deep knowledge of the product portfolio and support the distributors/field force in technical, clinical and marketing aspects
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities
  • Understand current published Coronary/TAVI and relevant literature. Recognize and understand competitive products, industry trends, and products portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong ethical business relationships with key accounts, key opinion leaders, key decision makers and distributors
  • Ensure comprehensive technical and customer support within territory to maintain superior customer service levels and effective time management
  • Collaborate with territory sales representatives in achieving sales targets and implementing business plans
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate product performance and customer feedback
  • Be ready to provide full support to the distributor partner and health care professionals
  • Actively participate in product ordering, warehousing processes
  • Implement marketing strategies and ensure successful product launches
  • Conduct territory and market data analysis
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional personal and company image

Must Haves:

  • University degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products; or at least 3 years of customer service experience in the Medical Devices industry
  • Fluency in English and local language
  • Analytical thinker with a strong ability to think through issues in a structured way, to develop insights and ability to derive quality decisions out of analysis
  • Trustworthy individual, able to build a strong internal & external network of stakehoders remotely, and capable of working with a number of internal and external stakeholders on reaching defined business goals
  • Willing to travel intensively (Baltics)
