Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Contrast Security

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer specializing in Contrast Security to co-own the day-to-day operation, administration, and continuous improvement of our security platforms, serving as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Latvia, whether it's your home or our office in Riga.

• Manage central configuration and ensure smooth operation of the platform, including upgrades and maintenance activities
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users while troubleshooting scan execution in CI/CD pipelines
• Act on operational incidents, including recovery efforts, to minimize downtime and disruption
• Communicate with Contrast vendors regarding issues, feature requests, and timelines
• Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when necessary
• Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution through bug fixes and development of new features
• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations across various environments
• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features to enhance platform capabilities
• Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans accordingly
• Validate vendor fixes and patches prior to production deployment
• Provide feedback that influences product roadmap discussions

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, platform administration, or a related technical role
• Expertise in Contrast Security platform administration and configuration
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting, including scan execution and integration
• Experience with SAP Piper pipeline solutions, including development and bug fixing
• Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and feature request communication
• Background in incident response and operational recovery processes
• Understanding of security scanning tools and their integration within development workflows
• Competency in evaluating and adopting new product features and capabilities
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
