Position: Airfreight Forwarding Development Manager

Location: Riga Latvia

We are looking for self-motivated and success-driven business development manager with 3 + experience in solution selling and new business development.

The job:

Airfreight Forwarding Development Manager shall manage and maintain a structured analysis of target markets and clients, build and maintain relationships with key contacts at potential clients and partners in order to get access to new opportunities, perform administrative tasks and work with airfreight forwarding documentation, be open to mastering new computer skills and programs.

Responsibilities include (not exclusively):

• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Conduct sales visits / customer and sales reports.
• Follow up new, potential & existing clients in all aspects.
• Sending offers/quote rates.
• Conduct marked reports and statistics.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.

  Key  goals:

• Organise and build an airfreight forwarding department.
• Develop and oversee marketing functions to identify key marketing strategies for successful new customer acquisition and sales growth.

Professional qualifications:

• Experience in air freight, - import and export.
• English, Latvian, Russian - written and spoken.
• Experience in sea freight or other freight forwarding SEA, RAIL, TRUCKING, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.
