Chief Accountant/Business Controller - Noble Woods Group/Latvia - Estonia

Noble Woods OÜ, a Estonian group overseeing forest and farmland management across 9560 hectares in Latvia, seeks a talented Chief Accountant/Business Controller to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for selecting and integrating a new ERP system, implementing real-time consolidated financial reporting, and optimizing cost and income documentation processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Select and integrate a bespoke ERP solution compatible with our existing LVM Geo and new Document Management System.
• Implement real-time, consolidated financial reporting for the Noble WoodsGroup and local Latvian operations.
• Optimize cost and income documentation processes to enable real-time accounting and management reporting. 

• Strong accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ERP system selection and implementation is a plus.
• Proficiency in Latvian and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Latvian (Estonian language skills a plus).

• Play a key role in transforming our financial infrastructure with the support of external consultants and our Estonian IT specialists.

Please note: While the role offers the flexibility to manage multiple clients in the long term, the initial phase will be intensive and may require longer hours, similar to American/Japanese work practices.
