Financial Controller for Global Enterprise Groups

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and reporting for Global Enterprise Groups (e.g., Marketing, Food, Merch, Digital, etc.) including accompanying variance analysis vs business plan and comments on performance (OPEX analysis, CAPEX spend, FTE reporting etc.);
• Assist in securing the correctness and completeness of P&L and drive corrective actions when necessary – prepare accruals, adjustments and reclassifications;
• Participate in Business Plan process and facilitate the preparation of OPEX budget for specific global functional groups in Circle K;
• Partner with global FP&A team and play a part in providing relevant and timely financial information to various stakeholders (corporate team, functional group leads and others);
• Understand accounting impacts to areas of responsibility that could affect financial performance;
• Continuously seek to improve efficiency, reliability and integrity of management reporting process and deliverables;
• Participate in projects, perform ad hoc analysis and other tasks as assigned.

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or similar
• Solid experience (2+ years) in controlling, accounting, audit or similar field, preferably within an international work environment
• Proficiency in English for communication with colleagues in Europe, Canada, America and India
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a simple, meaningful fashion
• Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) and general understanding of ERP systems
• Curious and inquisitive about the results generated
• Autonomous / Able to work with little supervision
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
