Job Description

Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of the Global Finance organization and is responsible for the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Gain a solid understanding of the company’s ERP system and accounting policies;
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information in line with internal policies and agreed deadlines;
Maintain accurate and timely execution of month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes;
Secure the correctness and completeness of station P&L and drive corrective actions when necessary (accruals, adjustments, reclassifications, allocations, etc.);
Participate in finance projects and contribute ideas for process optimization and improvements;
Develop and maintain process documentation.

Requirements

Degree in Economics or Finance field;
Experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in an international work environment;
Experience with general ledger functions, month-end closing, and financial reporting processes;
Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, and a solid understanding of accounting systems;
Strong analytical and accounting skills;
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills;
A self driven and proactive mindset, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, high quality deliverables, and meeting deadlines;
Precise, analytical, organized and stress resistant personality;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with colleagues across Europe.
