Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support business decision-making. Collaborating across departments to provide accurate and timely insights, ensuring that the financial data is reliable and actionable.

Prepare regular weekly and monthly reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Track key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Perform financial analysis to support decision-making, including data-driven insights for special projects, business cases, and operational decisions.
Define requirements for Power BI dashboards in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of reported data.
Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights for other teams and management.
Assist in process improvement and automation initiatives within financial reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
Professional certifications: CFA, ACCA are a plus.
Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role.
Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
Experience defining Power BI dashboard/report requirements, will be considered as advantage.
Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable reporting requirements.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with both finance and technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Good Latvian and English language skills in written and spoken.

Nice to have

Hands-on Power BI development experience is a plus.
