The opportunity

We are looking for the Medical Science Liaison in Latvia— a dynamic field-focused role that puts you at the forefront of scientific engagement nationwide. As part of our Medical Affairs team in Riga, you will independently build strong relationships with key experts, bring impactful medical knowledge to the healthcare community, and shape evidence-based dialogue around our therapies.

 

  • Responsible for cooperation with external experts, KOLs, Patient organizations in Latvia and will be representing Teva in respectful and ethical manner ( e.g. delivering high quality medical presentations; representing Teva at medical meetings; developing external experts engagement strategy, etc.),
  • Managing medical knowledge in the internal environment and serving as internal medical and scientific expert (e.g. via providing training to Sales & Marketing department, developing non-promotional materials, educational programs, participating in advisory board meetings, project teams, etc.),
  • Serving as liaison between clinical investigators and internal stakeholders e.g., reviewing clinical studies, facilitating submission, collaborating with Baltic Medical Manager,
  • Collecting and providing accurate and timely reports,
  • Managing medical information,
  • Supporting other managers with evidence based medicine resources and insights.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Biosciences,
  • Strong command of both written and spoken Latvian and English,
  • Confident presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and effectively,
  • Category B driving license,
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a medical/scientific role is considered an advantage.
