OPERATIONAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

Kärcher is looking for an experienced Operational Procurement Specialist to join our team at the production plant in Jelgava.

As an Operational Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials to ensure smooth operations at our production plant. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, you will ensure purchase orders are processed accurately, supplier performance is monitored and deliveries are aligned with business needs. This role is a key part of the development of our procurement team and offers the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping procurement processes on site. 

• Degree in business, supply chain or other related field 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operational procurement or similar role 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills 
• Proficiency with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
• Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style 
• Fluent in Latvian and English language skills for communication with colleagues in Latvia and Germany 

• Monthly salary: from 2500,00 € gross, depending on your qualifications

• Execute purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain supplier master data and ensure accurate documentation in the ERP system
• Support in supplier selection and onboarding in coordination with strategic procurement 
• Manage day-to-day communication with suppliers regarding delivery issues or changes 
• Collaborate closely with production, logistics and quality departments to meet supply needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes 
• Support reporting and procurement KPIs
